	LISD Engages Communities by Launching News Sites Lewisville Independent School District (LISD) is excited to announce a new way to communicate with its 52,000 students, parents, staff and community partners. On Jan. 9, the district is launching daily news blogs that will focus on news and information for all schools by the high school feeder pattern. To cultivate pride in the district, they will be called by the high school mascot name, followed by “Pride Daily”.
	LISD launches new "Insights" talk show with Dr. Waddell Fifth-grade students sat down with LISD Superintendent Dr. Waddell for the first episode of the new district talk show "Insights." Students submitted their own questions for the “Meet the Superintendent” episode.

	School Lunch Pricing for 2011-2012 Lunch prices for LISD next year will be $2.00 for elementary and $2.25 for secondary.
