Welcome to the Lewisville High School Art Department Web Page. Besides a description of the different Art courses offered, the Art Department staff, you will find selected student's artwork, and a gallery of art from many art classes.

LHS Art programs provide students a stable learning environment, to participate and excel in: painting, drawing, art history, ceramics, and sculpture.

In addition to meeting a required Fine Arts requirement, Art Department courses enable students to develop their creativity and expand their knowledge of art processes, and also have a good time creating works of art.

Students are active participants of the art classes, providing opportunities for all individuals to reach and exceed their potential, no matter what their artistic ability, from those interested in art as a career, to those who wish to extend their own artistic skills, or those who just want to have fun creating works of art.
