Prerequisite: By application with approval of principal
Grade Average: Student Assistants will receive numerical grades but grades are not computed on the student's GPA.

The duties of an office assistant include delivering messages, filing, duplicating, and performing other related tasks as assigned by the principal as needed to work in the Main Office, the Attendance Office, and the Guidance Offices.

Prerequisite: Teacher recommendation/approval of principal

The duties of a Practical Lab Assistant include assembling materials and equipment, helping distribute and collect supplies, assisting with appearance of work area, duplicating materials, and performing other related tasks as assigned by the principals. Student assistants approved for this area of the program will be assigned, as needed, to departmental chairpersons in Science, Industrial Arts, Art, Physical Education, and Special Education.

9040 Introduction to Library Research Methods/ Library Student Assistant

1/2 - 1 Credit (Local)
Grade 9 - 12
Prerequisite: None

Students learn research skills and assist in various aspects of the daily operation of the library. Students create displays, and gain experience in a variety of clerical tasks. Limited enrollment. Approval from librarian is required.
