We are a group of kids and teachers who not just love art, but activly do and make art becuase we, like many other people, enjoy it to the point of going insane. :D

Updates and News

02.14.2007 I apologize for the lack of updates! Not much has been going on in the Art Club since the interSkate Roller Skating Party, which we made $85 at! However, we are looking for people to come and play dodgeball, so if you haven't signed up, you had better hurry up! Also, on the 20th, we are going to be going to our fieldtrip to a glass blower - if you haven't signed up, go to Mrs. Franczvai and ask her for more information! It does not cost anything to come unless you buy a lunch for yourself, and if you are an adult, you do need a background check. Once again, ask Mrs. Franczvai for more information. Lastly, we need those of you who have ordered T-shirts to pay for them! They are only $10, and we would like it if you did not need to have change made.

01.07.2007 There has not been too much going on in Art Club lately - our latest project, the making and selling of Christmas ornaments, has been completed and was a huge success! Overall, we sold all but four of the some hundred or so we have made. Other projects that we are still working on include the weightlifting room project where we are painting the walls in a school-spirtited theme. If you have any suggestions of what we could do next, just tell one of the officer or the teachers!

11.09.2007 Yesterday, we started making ornaments for our booth at Holiday at the Hall, which is December 1st. Let's keep up the good work! We need some people to sign up to help with the booth through out the whole day - next meeting, one is going to be passed around. Make sure your name is on it! We also started painting more of the mural in the boy's locker room that we started last year - let's continue to work on it like we have been. It will be awesome in the end!

10.19.2007 Sorry for the lack of updates and such for the site! Basically, the Art Car (which you all will see in the Homecoming Parade) was a success and we made a pretty good profit. We are currently working on making more mums to sell next week, and this Saturday, we are going to be coming to the school to work on our hallway for the hallway contest:

09.13.2007 The first Art Club metting was held last Thursday, and the following was discussed: possible ideas for projects, rules, officer roles, introductions, and the making of an Art Club pin. An officer meeting was not held yesterday morning. Today, after school, another meeting will be held, and the possibility of starting a small project will be brought up, along with other news and updates.
