StuCo Committees
Student council is made up of several committees that are in charge of producing different projects. Each committee chairperson is head of his or her committee, and in charge of helping the projects run well. There are six main committes with several sub-committees to get the job done.

Pride and Patriotism
:

The P & P committee chairperon is Vice President, Stephanie Bui.
Each semester the committee works to promote pride within the school
and our community. The committee is also involved with honoring the
veterans and other leaders amoung the community. Projects include:
Pep Rallies, Veteran's and Rememberance Day ceremonies,
spirit dress-up days, Homecoming, and essay contests.

D.A.S.H.:

The Drugs, Alcohol, Safety, and Health committee
is headed up by Lizette Marines. Throughout the year, this
committee focuses on raising awarness about drugs and alcohol
amoung the students and community. Projects include: Red Ribbon Week,
drug surveys, pledges, and the Grim Reaper, a project that takes
place during Prom, encouraging students to be responsible after prom.

Energy and Environment:

Mister Corey Lindamood is our E & E chairperson.
The committee is concerned with environmental improvement and energy conservation. Projects include: Watt Watchers, water conservation,
Adopt-A-Spot, campus clean-ups and awareness posters and polls.

Community Service:

The Community Sevice committee chairperson is Kayla Higson.
Each season the committee works on projects
concerning our community as well as our school. Projects include:
mentoring, canned food drive, Angle Tree, elementary school carnivals,
and C.A.S.T. Kids, a spit tobacco awarness program for middle schools.

Publicity:

The Publicity committee is headed up by Brittany Young,
and Susan Shandley. This committee is
involved with getting
the school involved by hanging posters, making announcements,
and promotint Student Council. Projects include:
spirit posters,marquee announcements, television announcements,
and newspaper articles.
