Asia Club Faq

"What is the point of Asia Club?"

Asia club is designed to primarily explore and promote Asian cultures at Lewisville High school so that students have a better understanding of different traditions and beliefs.

"What does Asia Club offer me?"

Along with providing information about Asian history, Asia club allows members to meet knew people of various ethnicities. This club also helps if you are interested in being a NHS member because we give hours to those who attend fundraisers and other events that we hold.

"What is the point system and what does it offer?"

The point system is designed to get more participation out of our members. Although we do not require you to get a certain amount of points per month to stay in the club, we do allow certain activities to only those who have the required amount of points. This includes the end of the year activity, in which last year we went to Six Flags and are currently looking into events to attend this year. Therefore, it is highly recommended that you gain as many points as possible so that you can also enjoy the activities that Asia club has to offer.

"How do I gain points?"

There are many ways to gain points. They consist of:
1 point for attending a meeting (only 1 point is given per meeting day)
3 Points for attending small activities such as Halloween Carnival, and Movie Nights
5 Points is given per hour (up to 3 hours) at the Sonic Fundraisers
15 points given to members who participate in the Cultural Festival in April
