Black History Club

Meetings are held every Thursday at 8:20 a.m. to 8:35 a.m. in Room 3140.

The Black History Club was started February 1999. The group is sponsored by the African-American Association of Denton County.

Why Join?

The group was started because African-American students began to stress interest in an organization that would bring unity amongst other African-Americans and spread a positive message around the school. The goal is to spread African-American history positively throughout Lewisville High School, enabling others to be more aware of the contributions African-Americans have made. Also to get Students involved in activities that have to do with working together.

SPONSOR: Ms. Bishop
