FARMER GIRLS
The Farmer Girls are a group of Senior girls who are members of rowdy crowd who hold the letters that spell out "farmers." They also decorate the hallway before every game to promote school spitit and pride. The Farmer Girls wear decorated overalls that show their spirit.

The Boneheads are two seniors who have the most spirit in the school. The Boneheads wear bright orange reflector suits with matching hats and all of their friends sign it. They go to every game and keep the Rowdy Crowd hyped up. They do crazy things like play a tape recorder of the school song and sing along to it, they also bring drums and bang on them all during the game to keep the football guys motivated and intimidate the other teams players.

THE PITCHFORK
During the football games it is a tradition that that crowd of farmer fans need to put their "Pitchforks" in the air every time there is a punt return and yell as loud as they can. Whats a pitchfork you say?

Thats a pitch fork!

FIRST DOWN GUYS
Every time the farmer football team has a first down they yell at the top of thier lungs "ONE, TWO, THREE, FIRST DOWN!" They have been there every year at every game for as long as one can remember. There are new ones every year, but sometimes the oldies come back to yell for the Fighting Farmer Fottball team, and they are now a Fighting Farmer tradition.

MAROON AND WHITE
The farmer colors have been maroon and white since LHS was founded in 1897.

FIGHT SONG
After every touchdown that the Farmers make the Farmer band plays the fight song and the drill team does a dance to celebrate.

SCHOOL SONG
After every game, win or lose, the football players, coaches, and cheerleaders pray and come to a huddle facing the band and drill team and everyone puts their "L's" in the air and everyone sings the school song.

THE L
Since LHS was founded we have had the L. We put the L up when we are cheering, playing the school song, or even when ever the spirit hits us. The L shows our pride for our school everytime we "throw it up." Whats the L?

There you go...
