Lewisville FFA

The Lewisville FFA Chapter dates back as far as 1924. Throughout the past several decades, our chapter has been very successful. The current Lewisville FFA Chapter is reaching back a few decades in search of tradition, values, and leadership. We would like to think we still hold a true connection to the Old Town Lewisville traditions. Our FFA Booster is made up of several supportive members, calling themselves the Lewisville FFA Alumni. In fact, a large portion of our Alumni are ex-Lewisville FFA members. Our Chapter and Alumni are always looking for more support from the community.

If you are interested in joining our  Chapter/Alumni or becoming an active  supporter of the Lewisville FFA,  please contact either Clint Chitsey at  clintcd@lisd.net or Tammy Gebert at  gebertt@lisd.net. We would both be  glad to assist you in any way.

Structure of FFA

The FFA operates on local, state and national levels. Student members belong to chapters organized at the local school level. Agricultural education instructors serve as chapter advisors. Chapters are organized under state associations headed by an advisor and executive secretary, often employees of the state department of education. States conduct programs and host annual conventions.

FFA Mission

FFA makes a positive difference in the lives of students by developing their potential for premier leadership, personal growth and career success through agricultural education.
