- to provide students with opportunities to grow both socially and culturally.
- to instill in students the concept of self-worth and respect for self and others.
- to stress the need and respect for authority.
- to develop good citizenship principals.
- to provide a cooperative relationship between students and teachers as they solve problems and discover knowledge.
- to provide students with opportunities for development of leadership, participation and teamwork through co-curricular activities.
- to work for cooperative relationships between the school and the community.
- to broaden students' knowledge of community.
- to provide experiences of cultural and aesthetic appreciation.
