Nathan Hawes (A-C)

Hello, my name is Nathan Hawes. I am extremely excited to be part of the Farmer family again. I will be working with students whose last names are A through C. I want students to come to school each day and go home better than they were the day before.

I am originally from California, please don’t hold that against me. My undergrad degree is from Abilene Christian University with a degree in Education, Biology and PE. My master’s is also from Abilene Christian University in Leadership of Learning.

I started my teaching journey here at LHS, doing my student teaching in the Fall of 2000. I taught science and coached baseball at LHS until Spring of 2013. I moved to a learning facilitator role in LISD for two years. I was an assistant principal at Lamar Middle School in LISD for the past 10 years and now have joined the LHS administrative team. I am excited to be back at LHS.

I have a wife and three kids and enjoy being around them. I like watching all sports. I enjoy building things, and outside activities.
